Gens intstructions

Okay, these are my instructions to setup Shining Force so you can play. (Hi,Koneko!^^ you can hit the homepage button to explore the rest of my site)

1)Open up Gens and go to file

2)Click on open ROM

3)Open up the game file (It should say .smd at the end)

4)Go to option

5)Click on Joypads

6)You should get this screen. Click on the circled button.

7)You'll get this screen next. The ones you need to set up to your keyboard are U,D,L,R, Start,A,B, and C. Simply hit each button and type in the key you'd like to use, then go to the next. I like to use the arrow keys for U,D,L,R, the spacebar for start, a for a, s for b, and d for c. You can set it however you'd like, though. Press ok, then press ok on the next screen, and you can play Shining force!
